Mel Deane played professional rugby for Richmond, Sale Sharks, Harlequins, Connacht and Ireland A. Respected throughout the sport for his outstanding fitness, stamina and motivation Mel has, during his professional years, studied the methods of many of the world’s leading coaches, trainers and specialists. Now Mel is applying that knowledge to personal and group fitness training in South West London.
A highly experienced athlete with first-hand knowledge, Mel is helping people of all ages, shapes and sizes to improve their day-to-day lives through regular, tailored fitness training – and what’s more, Mel makes it enjoyable too…
Mel was offered a professional contract with Richmond rugby club 6 days before his last exam in Sports Science. Mel graduated from Brunel University with a BSc Sports Science degree and has since obtained more qualifications under his belt such as:

RFU Coaching Level 1 & 2.
